Aspect of the Dark Wood vs Melange of the Firelord

Trading a Aspect of the Dark Wood for a Melange of the Firelord is currently a fair swap in Dota 2. Both items sit at almost the same market value ($0.13 vs $0.13), so a one-for-one trade leaves neither side meaningfully ahead.

There is a liquidity catch here — Melange of the Firelord (demand 10/10) sells itself, whereas Aspect of the Dark Wood (demand 2/10) can be slow to move. Value-equal is not always trade-equal when one side is much harder to re-trade.

On recent form, Aspect of the Dark Wood has held steady this week and melange of the Firelord has held steady this week. Over 30 days the moves are 0% and 0% respectively, with low volatility on Aspect of the Dark Wood and low on Melange of the Firelord.

Both are Mythical mythicals, so this is a like-for-like Dota 2 trade — the decision comes down to value, demand and momentum rather than rarity tiers.
