Battle Balaclava vs Damascus and Mahogany War Paint (Factory New)

Right now Battle Balaclava and Damascus and Mahogany War Paint (Factory New) are close enough in value ($23.40 vs $23.50) that a one-for-one Team Fortress 2 swap counts as fair — neither trader needs to add anything.

There is a liquidity catch here — Damascus and Mahogany War Paint (Factory New) (demand 9/10) sells itself, whereas Battle Balaclava (demand 1/10) can be slow to move. Value-equal is not always trade-equal when one side is much harder to re-trade.

On recent form, Battle Balaclava has held steady this week and damascus and Mahogany War Paint (Factory New) has held steady this week. Over 30 days the moves are 0% and 0% respectively, with low volatility on Battle Balaclava and low on Damascus and Mahogany War Paint (Factory New).

Both are Standard cosmetics, so this is a like-for-like TF2 trade — the decision comes down to value, demand and momentum rather than rarity tiers.
