Killstreak Phlogistinator vs Portal Plastered Scattergun (Factory New)

Right now Killstreak Phlogistinator and Portal Plastered Scattergun (Factory New) are close enough in value ($1.05 vs $1.05) that a one-for-one Team Fortress 2 swap counts as fair — neither trader needs to add anything.

There is a liquidity catch here — Killstreak Phlogistinator (demand 9/10) sells itself, whereas Portal Plastered Scattergun (Factory New) (demand 1/10) can be slow to move. Value-equal is not always trade-equal when one side is much harder to re-trade.

On recent form, Killstreak Phlogistinator has held steady this week and portal Plastered Scattergun (Factory New) has held steady this week. Over 30 days the moves are 0% and 0% respectively, with low volatility on Killstreak Phlogistinator and low on Portal Plastered Scattergun (Factory New).

Both are Standard cosmetics, so this is a like-for-like TF2 trade — the decision comes down to value, demand and momentum rather than rarity tiers.
