Strange Deadwave Communicator vs Strange Specialized Killstreak Medi Gun

Right now Strange Deadwave Communicator and Strange Specialized Killstreak Medi Gun are close enough in value ($4.20 vs $4.25) that a one-for-one Team Fortress 2 swap counts as fair — neither trader needs to add anything.

There is a liquidity catch here — Strange Specialized Killstreak Medi Gun (demand 9/10) sells itself, whereas Strange Deadwave Communicator (demand 1/10) can be slow to move. Value-equal is not always trade-equal when one side is much harder to re-trade.

On recent form, Strange Deadwave Communicator has held steady this week and strange Specialized Killstreak Medi Gun has held steady this week. Over 30 days the moves are 0% and 0% respectively, with low volatility on Strange Deadwave Communicator and low on Strange Specialized Killstreak Medi Gun.

Both are Strange cosmetics, so this is a like-for-like TF2 trade — the decision comes down to value, demand and momentum rather than rarity tiers.
